This oven-barbecued beef brisket recipe is extremely easy and is my family's favorite! It can be done in the oven or slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ pounds beef brisket
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle cola-flavored carbonated beverage
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle chili sauce
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Place brisket, fat-side up, in a roasting pan. Combine cola, chili sauce, and onion soup mix in a small bowl; pour over brisket. Cover roasting pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 hours; uncover during the last hour.
